About the Programme

ULIP (Unilever Leadership Internship Programme) is a three-month internship programme, where screened applicants are given an opportunity to work and lead live business projects at Unilever Bangladesh Limited.

The three month long extensive internship programme will allow students to gain on-the-job learning and hands-on experience through working on live projects at the leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company.

We recruit 4 batches of interns for the whole year at once. The batches are –

  1. July 2022
  2. October 2022
  3. January 2023
  4. April 2023

Students commencing internship period any time between July 2022 and April 2023 can select any of the above batches in line with their academic calendar for this year’s recruitment.

Yes. It is a paid internship.

ULIP internships are offered in below functions:

  1. Sales and Marketing (GTM)
  2. Finance
  3. Supply Chain (Based out of both UBL Corporate Office & Chittagong Kalurghat Factory)
  4. Human Resources
  5. Information Technology (IT)
  6. Research & Development (R&D)
  7. Legal

You will be required to work from office unless your Line Manager wants you to work remotely.

Yes, you might have to depend on the nature of the project that you are assigned.

Duration

The internship is designed for three months. However, it may be extended up to 4 months depending on business need or development need of the intern.

Generally, standard office hours are 10 AM – 6 PM.

Eligibility

ULIP recruitment is on an annual basis, each internship period is 3 months. All final year undergraduates who will commence their internships between July 2022 to April 2023 are eligible to apply.

You will require a passing CGPA of 2.5 to register.

Yes, fresh graduates (who completed all courses on or after February 2022) are welcome to apply.

No. ULIP is a full-time internship opportunity. Hence, all courses must be completed before you can start your internship.

Assessment and Application

Candidates must pass three rigorous rounds post-registration before they can become ULIP Interns. The three rounds will include an aptitude test, digital case-solving round, and final interview. Applicants from each round will receive phone calls/ email confirmations from the Unilever Team regarding their assessment phases. Upon the final selection of this year’s ULIP Interns, joining and onboarding will be done face to face.

Candidates will receive the time and date for their aptitude test after successfully registering. The test will take place online, the link will be provided to the candidate via email.

The aptitude test is designed to test your analytical, verbal and numerical skills.

The aptitude test is 30 minutes long.

No, you have to finish the test at one go. Once you start the test, the timer will start automatically.

Passing marks for the aptitude test can vary depending on the overall performance of the candidates.

Once the application is submitted, nothing can be changed. Hence, please fill out the registration form carefully.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified through emails.

Basic screening occurs at the application phase. Candidates who pass or fail the screening will receive an email notification.

Your preferred batch/ time will be taken into account. However, depending on the projects available, we will try and accommodate you into projects nearest to your preferred time.

Yes. You will be allowed to express your preferences. However, placements can differ based on the availability of projects and the assessor's decisions.
